Verigo: Thanks for having us on. Metalmorbosis

P / First of all , tell us which is Vesterian who they are and their roots ?
Verigo: I formed Vesterian back in 97 in Charlotte NC. All music was written and composed by me. At that time drums were handled by A.R. Terror. I now reside in Corona, CA. The Line up now consists of Myself, Pandemonic, and Abraxas. Our music derives from Old traditional Black Metal such as Mayhem, Enslaved, Dark Throne, Old Helhiem, Isvind and much more.

p / Why the decision to change the name of Centurion, a Vesterian ?
Verigo: We decided to change the name because we wanted a name that was not already taken.

p / Tell us something about the first two demos as Centurion because of them very little, almost nothing is known ?
Verigo: I would describe Centurion's sound as Barbaric Old school Black Metal. Somewhere along the lines of Hellhammer, Old Dodhiemsgard, Tangorodrim. The 2 demo cassettes were released by us and circulated through the Eastern US Metal Scene.

P / That led them to make the decision to change the names of their second demo " Vestarian "
Verigo: The Vesterian St was intended to be the first release. Black Metal War and the ST were recorded at the same time. Unfortunately, the recording took longer than expected, and I had plans to go over seas. So I decided to take the 2 completed songs and circulate it in Europe Under the name Black Metal War.

P / The lyrics of their songs are composed by you ?
Verigo: All lyrics are composed by me.

P / circumstances that led to the departure of their first drummer Hellcaster ?
Verigo: Hellcaster was not our first drummer. His departure from Vesterian was due to the band relocating further to Corona.

p/ What contributions has given them their new drummer Abraxas ?
Verigo: Abraxas is the storm behind the music. He has the Speed, Stamina, Timings and Techniques that help us move forward.

p / Verigo , back to the topic of his lyrics, you get at them?
Verigo: Our lyrics cover a wide range of topics deriving from many sources. Ancient War, Anti-Christianity, Hatred and Disgust for today's world, End Times, Genocide, Cosmos, Sorcery, Satanism, and so on.
P / What changes can we see from the first five demos its first L' p "Anthems for the Coming War Age" ?
Verigo: You can expect a much more properly recorded and produced record here. Devastating drum work, crushing solos.This is a 1 hour collection of songs written from the late 90s to 2011.

P / with eyes that see the new fusions BLACK METAL ?
Verigo: I believe Black Metal should be played straight forward and follow the way it was intended in the old days. I am not a fan of bands that combine commercial/trendy elements in Black Metal.

Verigo: Vesterian has performed with many great and respected Black Metal bands, such as Horna, Marduk, Impiety, Negura Bunget, Blood Stained Dusk, Mayhem, Averse Sefira, Nachtmystium, Nightbringer, Merrimack, Teratism, and many more.
